DENVER - THE “MILE HIGH CITY”

At 5,280 feet of elevation — Denver boasts over 300 days a year of sunshine. The city covers 154 square miles and has a current population of over 635,000 people. The seven county metro Denver area (Denver, Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Douglas and Jefferson counties) has over three million people. Even though it is less than a two-hour drive to Colorado’s legendary ski resorts, (such as Vail and Breckenridge) there’s plenty to keep you closer to home – world class museums, sports teams and shopping. Living in one of Denver’s many “in-town” neighborhoods, as well as the many adjacent suburban cities and towns, gives you easy access to all Denver has to offer.

the neighborhoods

The metro area’s neighborhoods are diverse and unique; each has its own history, well-known and well-loved buildings, architectural styles, parks, shops and open spaces. To try to characterize them here would do them injustice – they have to be seen to be enjoyed. We will help you find a home in an area that meets your criteria based on your price range and specific needs and wants. Corcoran Perry & Co. has three offices to serve you – two in central Denver, and one in Greenwood Village, which serves the south suburban metro area.

We’ve hand-selected a few of our favorite neighborhoods for you to learn about as you begin your search.
